Meet Brandy!
The newest member of the Full Bloom Acres family!
Brandy, the alpaca was born on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
This baby’s life began before we were ever involved. It was a series of particular events that lead us to rescuing momma, Ethel, and dad, Freddy. The circle of life is truly spectacular. Without the passing of our beloved alpaca, Annie, Brandy would not have come into our lives. And her life would look completely different. Instead, mom and baby will live life as alpacas, together, as a family.

Yup, it’s graphic! But it’s beautiful! Don’t worry, as our vet said, babies are very “flexible”. It looks a bit scary, but everything went exactly as it should. Mom and baby are both doing well!

In this video, baby Brandy stands up for the first time! This was taken about 15 minutes after she was delivered. She started walking around and nursing about 30 minutes later.
