Welcome to Week 3!

Salads

This week, we're focusing on salads. Salads are not only limited to iceberg lettuce and sliced carrots ! Before we get into the recipes, let’s take a closer look at some of the many leafy greens available to us. Use your imagination! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Dark leafy greens.

They will change your world! And your gut microbiome! Leafy greens are some of the healthiest foods on the planet. They are full of phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals, protein, antioxidants, and fiber! The reason leafy greens are celebrated in the holistic health world is that they are nutrient-dense while being calorie-poor. This means that you can eat a lot of them without sacrificing your weight-loss goals. In fact, thanks to all the fiber greens contain, they can actually help you lose weight. So eat up!
