Vanilla Nice Cream

Banana Nice Cream
 

Nice Cream has been sweeping the nation! And for good reason! Typical ice cream is loaded with sugar, artificial sweeteners and preservatives, fat, and a lot of other things you probably don’t want in your body. Yes, it’s tasty, but at what cost? That’s where Nice Cream comes in! It’s dairy-free and made with real foods while still being delicious! Next time a craving hits, whip up some Nice Cream, and rest assured you did something good for your body!

Makes: 1 serving

Ingredients:

¼ cup walnuts

2 ripe bananas, frozen (see note below)

⅓ cup unsweetened soy, hemp, or almond milk

1 teaspoon vanilla bean powder or alcohol-free vanilla extract

Directions:

Using a high-powered blender, blend the walnuts to a fine powder. Add remaining ingredients and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.

Note: Freeze ripe bananas for at least 8 hours in advance. Peel bananas, cut them into 2-inch pieces, and seal in a plastic bag before freezing.
