Holy kale! It’s almost Thanksgiving!
No matter whether we like it or not, we’re moving on into the holiday season. I always look forward to Thanksgiving. I like spending time with my family and I like that the day feels a little more laid back than every other day of the year (probably because I’m not the one doing all of the cooking!)! Chia seeds (Salvia hispanica L.) are considered an ancient grain and new-aged super-food. Chia seeds date back to well over 5,500 years and were the main staple of the Mayan and Aztec empires.
