Quick Morning Oats

 

Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients:

⅔ cup rolled oats

⅔ cup water 

½ cup almond milk, or more to taste

1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon hemp hearts

1 tablespoon almond butter

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the oats and water, stirring frequently. Once well-combined and creamy, stir in the almond milk and reduce heat.

Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix well. Warm thoroughly, then remove from heat. Add more milk, as desired, to reach desired consistency. Divide into bowls, add toppings as desired, and enjoy! Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Optional topping ideas: shredded coconut, sliced banana, blueberries, mixed berries, diced pear, craisins, raisins, walnuts, pecans, pure maple syrup, ect.
